It’s Never Too Late to Begin

No matter where you are on your journey of grief, whether it’s the early stages with feelings of blame, guilt, or anger still prevalent, this program can help you delve deeper into the reasons behind it all.

After grappling with grief for an extended period, you find yourself in a peculiar place – one foot in the past, while the other steps towards an uncertain future. Emotions of fear and doubt accompany this transition as you contemplate bidding farewell to the past and embracing what lies ahead.

You’re filled with a sense of readiness and anticipation to embark on the next chapter of your journey. However, as you gaze upon the daunting ascent that lies ahead, you find yourself perplexed by the hesitation to take the first step. The reasons for this delay elude you, leaving you uncertain of how to proceed.

No matter where you are in your journey, your thoughts play a pivotal role. They create your emotions and feelings, which in turn influence your behaviors as you navigate through grief.

Exploring the Synergy Between Positive Intelligence and Challenges Encountered in Grief

My Own Journey

I have learned so much from my own journey with Positive Intelligence® that I wanted to share it with you and all my clients. This experience has shown me how to work with grief and trauma in a way that supports my clients such as you.

As a grief coach, podcast host, author, wife, mother and friend to many, my daily life can get stressful as I juggle many roles. It’s easy to slip into overwhelm finding decision-making very challenging.

To counteract this I now take my mind to the gym daily and use many of the techniques I’ve been taught in the program.  The difference is I’m no longer exhausted after hours of interviews or coaching.  I’m more present with my clients and my guests.  Even tasks I’ve been avoiding are easier to manage. Now that I have a daily routine of taking my mind to the Gym (2-12mins) which enables me  to shift my mindset.

Below you’ll learn and discover the benefits of working to understand and manage the many ways we sabotage our healing without realizing it.  You’ll become more aware of your inner critic as I did and the judgements often present when grieving.

Introducing Positive Intelligence®

First, before diving in, let me share a bit about what Positive Intelligence® is and why it’s different.

Most attempts at positive change fail because we stop at insight and don’t build habits.  Sustained change towards a more positive mind requires laying down neural pathways to form new habits through consistent daily practice using the PQ Mental Fitness program and its associated tools.

After a decade of coaching women on their grieving journey, I finally stumbled upon the missing puzzle piece. How does strengthening the mind support you in awareness of how you can hold yourself back?

Positive Intelligence® is a mental fitness program that enables wellness, positive relationships and productivity and supports grief.

The PQ operating system provides the opportunity to identify and decrease negative thoughts, called saboteurs and works to increase positive thoughts we call Sage.

PQ Mental Fitness

Teaches you how to grow The Three Core mental muscles to thrive in Challenging Times.

Saboteur Interceptor Muscle

Your Saboteurs generate all your negative emotions, including stress, anxiety, self-doubt, anger, avoidance, procrastination, insensitivity or discontent. Mental fitness is the ability to intercept and discredit the Saboteurs.

Self-Command Muscle

Boosts your ability to command your mind to quiet the Saboteur region and amplify the Sage region. Using simple daily exercises, you will learn to run your brain, rather than allow your Saboteur-hijacked brain to run you.

Sage Muscle

Your Sage muscle allows you to handle challenges with a clear and calm mind and positive emotions. It also allows access to your 5 primary powers. For peak performance, you learn to boost all 5 powers and know when to use which power.

Exploring the Benefits

Learning to Manage Self-Sabotaging and Judgmental Behaviors During the Grieving Process

Grief can bring up feelings of critical and judgmental behaviours, particularly when a person is in the early stages of grief.

It’s important to recognize that these emotions are normal, however, it is also beneficial to learn how to manage them in order to live a healthier and happier life post-loss.

Minimizing Emotional Stress

Being overly critical or judgmental of oneself can intensify emotional strain during the grieving process. However, adopting a more compassionate and understanding attitude towards oneself can help lessen unnecessary emotional stress and promote a healthier and more effective journey.

Acceptance & Healing

Grief requires acknowledgement of  the loss and associated emotions.

Judgmental behaviours hinder acceptance, leading to guilt or inadequacy.

Letting go of self-judgment facilitates acceptance and progress towards healing.

Coping and Resilience

Managing self-sabotage and judgment fosters the development of effective coping mechanisms.

Enables focus on positive strategies like seeking support, practicing self-care, and finding healthy outlets for emotions.

Enhances resilience in navigating the challenges of grief.

Improved Mental Health

Self-sabotage and self-judgment can worsen symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Reducing these behaviours contributes to better mental health during grief.

Promotes overall well-being and emotional stability.

Strengthened Relationships

Grief can strain relationships, and self-sabotaging behaviours may lead to isolation or conflicts with loved ones.

Managing these behaviours helps maintain and strengthen connections with family and friends.

Crucial sources of support during the grieving process are preserved and nurtured.

Mental Fitness Coaching

As your Grief Coach,  now trained by Shirzad Chamine as a Mental Fitness Coach. The benefit of this approach is its simplicity in explaining what’s going on in grief in easy-to-understand terms.

I’ve coached many clients grieving using traditional coaching methods, who did gain relief, understanding and insights. Using Mental Fitness coaching, however, creates a deeper understanding of the root causes of what impacts your well-being and performance.

When you’re grieving a loss you’re in survival mode instead of thriving.

Through learning Positive Intelligence you’ll learn to switch mindsets in order for you to grieve well and thrive. It’s about bringing in more ease and flow to your grieving time.

When you have the language and awareness of Positive Intelligence, you will gain many insights when applied to grief.

I’d love you to take the Saboteur Quiz so you can understand how they hold you back.

When you have your Top Three, I invite you to have a no-obligation call with me so I can answer any questions you may have and provide further clarity on how we can work together to bring about positive changes in your mind set.
